Unfortunately after the grading we are farewelling Matthew who is moving to Auckland (for good reasons mind you) but look forward to keeping in touch with him as part of the "TKD family"... Oceanias Tournament Results Congratulations to Khandallah members for fantastic results, specifically medals for: Justin (gold sparring), Susanne (gold sparring), Richie (gold patterns) and Jake (silver patterns, silver special technique). Darren was head tournament official and Sheryl, sidelined by injury, was a gold medal supporter. Gup grading On Sunday 20 April at Onslow College gym (ie our old do-jang), 9am form-up but be there well before that to prepare. As Khandallah are hosting the grading, ALL Khandallah members will be expected to assist in EITHER setting the hall up (be there by 8:30am) or tidying up afterwards (meet there 5:30pm). Please pay grading fees electronically as below, including your name on the details. Wellington Combined Training Will be lead by the Wellington athletes that went to the World Champs last year in Canada, partly as a thank you to the region for the financial support given and to encourage more students to have a go in the up-coming Regionals. To be held at Wellington Boys College ''Old Boys Gym'', Saturday 3rd May 1pm-4pm. No cost. Black Belt Grading Zane will be sitting for his I Dan Black Belt over the weekend of 24-25 May on the Kapiti Coast. The open part of the grading is on Sunday afternoon so encourage members to get along to watch and support. Regional Tournament Scheduled for Sat 7 June. It would be excellent to have a strong showing from the club this year including all ages and ranks. Fees Please ensure you are up to date, and of course no-one will sit grading unless their fees are fully up to date - check with Sheryl if you are unsure. From July there will be a $5/month increase for those NOT paying electronically via internet banking.
